Website Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of the Immanuel Innovation website and platform. By creating an account or using the website you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use the website.

2. Who can use Immanuel Innovation

Immanuel Innovation is intended for students, mentors/teachers and parents/guardians engaging with our guided-project platform. Where a student is below the age at which they can independently consent to data processing, a parent or guardian must provide consent before certain features (such as collaboration, public project pages or a shareable portfolio) become available.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the website to: post content that is unlawful, abusive, bullying or discriminatory; impersonate another person; upload material that infringes someone else's rights; attempt to bypass the school/organisation-based collaboration restrictions; probe, scan or hack the website; or interfere with the normal operation of the platform.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the project work, journal entries, files and portfolio content you upload ("your content"). By posting content that is visible to others (for example, a published project, a public progress gallery image, or a shareable portfolio page) you grant us the licence needed to display that content on the platform for that purpose. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you upload.

6. Our content

Except for your content, Immanuel Innovation and its licensors own the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the website and its material. You may view, use and print pages for your own personal, educational and non-commercial use, but you must not republish, sell or otherwise commercially exploit our material without permission.

7. AI-assisted features

Some parts of the platform use an AI mentoring assistant to help you plan, draft and research your projects. AI-generated content is a starting point to help you think, not professional advice, and may contain mistakes - always check facts yourself and use your own judgement. See our Use of AI page for full detail.

8. Coins, badges and rewards

Coins and badges are non-monetary recognition of participation and achievement on the platform. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred for money. Where we offer redeemable rewards, availability is limited, may change at any time, and redemption is subject to any additional conditions shown at the time (including parental consent for certain physical prizes).

9. Suspension and termination

If you breach these terms, we may warn you, temporarily suspend your account, or permanently remove your access to the website, at our discretion, particularly where necessary to protect the safety of other students.

10. Limited warranties and liability

The website is provided free of charge to students. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, while nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on this page. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
