How AI helps mentor you here

1. Why we use AI
Immanuel Innovation uses an AI mentoring assistant, alongside your human mentors and teachers, to help you think through your project. It is designed to make the guided milestone journey more interactive - offering structured checklists, ideas and questions, helping you draft documents you can then edit, and (once you finish your milestones) suggesting people, organisations and marketing angles worth researching further.
2. Where you will meet AI on the platform
- AI Mentor - structured, milestone-specific guidance, checklists and category-relevant tips as you work through your project.
- "Draft with AI" - generates an editable first draft of a milestone document (for example a concept outline or a plan), grounded in that milestone's own guidance, which you then read, edit and make your own before saving.
- Deep research - once you complete your milestones, an optional research action can suggest categories of companies, competitions, mentors or marketing ideas relevant to your project, clearly labelled as AI-generated leads for you to verify yourself.
3. AI assists - it does not replace your mentors
AI-generated suggestions and drafts are a starting point, not a finished answer and not professional advice. They can be incomplete, generic or simply wrong. Your teachers and mentors remain responsible for guiding, reviewing and assessing your work - always use your own judgement, fact-check anything important, and ask a human mentor if you are unsure.
4. How your data is used
When you use an AI feature, the relevant prompt (for example, your project title, category and the specific question or milestone content involved) is sent to our AI provider, Groq, solely to generate a response for you. We do not knowingly send full names, contact details or other sensitive personal information as part of these prompts. Please do not type personal information about yourself or anyone else (such as home addresses, phone numbers or anything sensitive) into an AI feature.
5. Fair use
AI features are provided as a learning aid and may be subject to fair-use limits to keep the service available and sustainable for everyone. We log AI requests for safety, abuse-prevention and service-improvement purposes, in line with our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
6. Questions or concerns
If you have any concerns about an AI-generated response, or you believe a feature has produced something inappropriate, please tell a mentor/teacher or contact us at contact@immanuelonlineschool.com.
